About
Coins For Cops

Founder, Rachel, like many of us, saw the villainization of police officers around our nation by the Main Stream Media and other organizations, and was deeply troubled by this.

She saw that it led to an increased level of disrespect, threats, and violence against the men and women who are tasked with protecting and serving our communities on a daily basis and decided that she wanted to do something to give back. She wanted to let officers know that they were still respected, honored, supported, and appreciated in their communities, and Coins For Cops was born.

Mission of
Coins For Cops

My goal is to thank every police officer in the nation for their service and let every officer know that they are appreciated and supported.

With your generous donation, each officer will receive a hand written 'Thank You' card and a beautiful, one-of-a-kind Challenge Coin, specifically designed to let officers know just how thankful we are for their service.

One of a kind Challenge Coins

If you can't donate, make sure you wave, smile, say 'hello,' or say 'thank you' to any officer you encounter. You have no idea how much a kind word or gesture means to them.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Donate today. Any amount helps.

3 ways you can help:

1.) Donate, and your money will be used to fund officers in communities I am adopting at that specific time.

2.) Fundraise for a specific police department of your choice anywhere in the country! Contact me for more information.

3.) Purchase Challenge Coins and 'Thank you' cards directly from me and you can choose how you pass them out, whom you give them to, or you can keep them for your own collection. For each coin you buy, an officer will also be gifted with a coin and card.Contact me for more information.

What You Didn't Know

I didn't enjoy writing tickets - But you didn't know

I cried when I found your daughter lying in a ditch, high on meth - But you didn't know

I was devastated when I found the 32 year old veteran dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound - But you didn't know

I missed my kids birthdays, school plays and family trips because I had to work - But you didn't know

I had nightmares about the 2 year old I found crushed under a truck tire while mom was inside buying dope - But you didn't know

I really struggled with EVERY death notification I made to a family about their loved one - But you didn't know

I was never comfortable at social gatherings because with the things I've seen, I can't trust anyone - But you didn't know

I've seen things you could never even imagine - But you didn't know

I really didn't like putting people in jail - But you didn't know

My job was hard on my family - But you didn't know

I had problems, just like everyone else - But you didn't know

The next time you see an officer, or any first responder, remember that they are people first and there is no training in the world that prepares them for the things they see and do on a daily basis.
